I really liked the concept of this heated hoodie and thought it would be perfect for a cold day out. We have rugby season tickets and it does get quite chilly so thought this heated hoodie would be perfect to keep nice and warm during the games. It came packaged nicely in a sturdy storage bag, the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The hoodie requires a power bank which is not included, we have a few at home so this wasn't a problem for us. The little pocket where the power bank is to be stored is rather small so that's something to keep in mind that you will require a fairly small one. I have a really small one at home (in the shape of a unicorn) which fit in the pocket perfectly. Upon plugging the power bank into the cable and pressing the power button for 3 seconds, unfortunately nothing happened. It's supposed to start heating up but this was not the case unfortunately. I double checked whether the power bank was faulty, so plugged in my iphone and it worked perfectly so it couldn't have been the power bank. I tried two others that we have at home that are quite a bit bigger and again, the jacket did not start heating up with those either.Very disappointed as the jacket received seems to be faulty and just did not work at all.

This is ideal for fishing, winter walks, sports spectating etc. and just general wear in the chilly winter weather. This is Britain, after all! The jacket comes in decent zip up plastic packaging, and includes an instruction manual with different languages, so very user friendly. Decent quality. The jacket itself, (and it is a jacket – although what you would generally call a ‘hoody’, NOT a gilet), is surprisingly stylish, with a good quality feel fabric.. The material really nice, the lining being very soft, making the jacket quite warm to wear, even without the built in heater. The jacket features a hood, which is also good quality and comfy to wear. The pocket for power-bank placement, is on the inside, lead to connect to. The pocket is quite small (c140mm x 80mm), however, so will not accommodate larger power-banks, which is a bit of a pain. Theoretically, you could use a USB extension, and place in another pocket, but that’s not really ideal. The ‘on’ button is placed on the left top side in the inside of the jacket, which makes it easy to power on and off. The outer pockets are large enough to fit in your day to day items, such as a wallet and a phone (even the Plus sized models). There are 3 x heat settings, so you could perhaps use the high setting to start, and gradually reduce to suit. Although the jacket is machine washable, you do need to use a washing net which is not included. Now the problem…… After trying out, and it worked (although only one side seemed to be heating up), it stopped working. As soon as you connect (fully charged powerbank) and switch on, it just keeps switching itself off again. All in all, would be a good product if it worked properly. A little pricey, since it does not include a power-bank, and the power-bank pocket could do with being a bit larger. I might have just been unlucky with this one?I hope this has been helpful.

I couldn't wait to get my heated jacket I received it via the post and a was a cold winter day perfect for a test. Once my power bar was charged i connect it via the usb C connection which was in a small zipped pocket inside the jacket. There is three setting hot, warm and cool which is colour coded so it's easy to to see which setting your on. I put it on the highest setting and put my jacket on and went outside. Firstly it didn't feel any different from a normal jacket but as the jacket gets warmer you can feel the heat it generates. It has a nice hood, and cuffs on the sleeves stops the wind going up or the rain. It zips up to cover your whole neck and it's got two side zipped pockets. It is made from water proof and wind proof materials and machine washable. I think the only down side is the power bar storage pocket is a bit small, and probably if there was a few more colours to choose from..other than that a great jacket to keep you warm dry and cosy on those winter days..

This heated hoodie is comprised of a polyester outer shell, cotton filling and nylon inner layer.I ordered the biggest size at the time of xxl, but usually wear 3xl. I was able to squeeze into this. It doesn't come with a battery but I was able to use a power bank with a USB port. It works well and heats up nice and warm. It has 3 heat settings with one button that controls the whole hoodies heat (opposed to other heated shirts that have one button for front heat and another for back heat). The hoodie material was not soft and a little unpleasant but I wore this on top of a long sleeve shirt. I will wear this for outside activities during winter/ fall under my coat; activities like sledding and ice fishing but I wouldn't wear this as a regular hoodie to wear inside.

By itself, it is great starting when temperatures drop below 60 degrees F. With the added heat, temperatures can plummet, and you can still be comfortable.I was a bit concerned when it arrived without a power source. It uses a USB connection, so just about any power bank that you would use to recharge your phone or tablet will work. And, it works almost instantly to make sure that you stay warm and toasty.A bit expensive compared to other heated jackets since it does not include the power bank. Some of the reviews were not happy with the fact that the jacket was polyester. I did not find that a detriment. It is well-constructed, warm, and comfortable. The weight is perfect for fall through late spring weather. Still not crazy about the polyester texture though. The shop’s picture shows this jacket as trim and fitted. In reality, it does not look at all like the photo. It is bulky and chunky. It is also a much lighter, mottled gray. It is warm, but not flattering when worn. It adds about 20 pounds visually to your silhouette. It might be a bit pricey, but with a little care you should be able to stay warm with this jacket for years.

Some of the negative reviews are maybe based on a previous description. Someone said it wasn't cotton as described. I guess they corrected the description. I don't see where it mentions cotton. It's polyester. I'm a man and I usually wear a large. This fits well as a large. Maybe it's just a little smaller than some other large coats I have, but it's comfortable - not tight. The zipper-pull is on the left side. They say it's unisex and after it's zipped up, it is. But other coats I have with zippers have the pull on the right side. That's not a big deal. It heats up well. I have more than one power bank that fits in the pocket quite well. I really like that the power button is on the inside where it's not seen. I have a heated vest with the button on the outside and when it's on, the light is visible. I don't necessarily want to advertise that. Not that I care, but people sometimes might ask, "What's that red light for?" I like it hidden. I wish the hoodie had a drawstring or some way to close it tighter, but it's pretty good when the zipper is all the way up. I like this one better than the vest.

I'll start by saying this is a jacket and not a gilet as a gift has removable sleeves this doesn't so it's a jacket with that nitpick out of the way let's get started. The jacket feels and fits great I didn't want to show it on me as I'm too shy haha but it fits I can assure you of that, the material looks very stylish and for a simple jacket without the heating function it compares well to the branded jackets. The heating function works brilliantly there are 3 heating pads (circled in red on the 2nd picture) 1 for the back and 2 smaller pads for the chest, each has 3 heating settings that are changed together (would be cool if it was independent zones), the 3 settings are blue for low heat, white for medium heat and red for high heat, I prefer the medium heat setting but for the really cold mornings the higher temps will come in handy. To change the heating settings you just press the power button and it will change colour, turning off the heating pads requires you to hold the button for 5 seconds and turning it on is about the same the manual does say the pads need 5 minutes to preheat so its best to preheat it when you're still busy with tasks at home.An issue I find is that the jacket doesn't come with a power supply and the powerbank that I have is way too big for the pocket I feel they should sell the jacket with an optional power supply for those who don't have a suitable means of powering the jacket.I like that the jacket is machine washable as hand washing clothing is no fun haha just make sure you don't tumble dry the jacket it must be air dried. It is noted by other reviewers that the jacket isn't completely water resistant I haven't tested for this as of yet but the jacket is thin enough that a waterproof coat or poncho would alleviate any possible issues.Overall I'm impressed and entertained by the idea of a heated jacket, I'm happy to recommend this item (£89.99 at the time of my review), thank you for reading this review and thank you Conqueco for the re.

This is a comfortable, cosy and smartly designed hoodie that comes folded and zipped up inside its own plastic storage bag. It has panels on either side of the chest and the back that warm up once connected to power. There are 3 head settings that can be changed using the button on the inner breast. The hoodie is neatly stitched, with thick, insulating material for added warmth. The fit seems true to size, thereabouts. My main qualm is with the price. At almost £80 you would expect the garment to have its own battery pack included, and a well made one too. Instead you must provide this yourself, which isn’t ideal by any stretch. Far to expressive for an incomplete item.

Unfortunately my last heated jacket died this winter, so when I saw this one I thought it would be good to try. If you have not used a heated jacket, my experience is that they are a big warmer than a non-heated jacket, but are not too hot. Much of the heat, I think, escapes to the outside, so as a middle layer tends to work better than an outermost layer. This jacket feels very much like a sweatshirt. It is soft, the tag says waterproof, windproof, 100% nylon outside, 100% nylon inside and filler of cotton, this does not feel like it would be waterproof to me.The heating in this jacket comes from two patches over the chest (one on each side) and one in the middle to upper back. They are not terribly large heating areas, but on this cool spring day work fine. I think on colder days, as a middle layer will also be good. For size, I am 6 feet tall, 185 pounds, and it is tighter than the large I usually buy, but not too tight to wear.An unusual, but great feature of this jacket is that the light control is on the inside of the jacket. My last had it on the chest, and so everyone would ask why I had a red/ blue/ green light on my chest. Such an easy thing to put it on the inside, still very accessible, but not telling the world your jacket is heated. You do need to read the instructions as in addition to red/ white / blue, when I turned it on it was a fading in and out red, which is a preheat function? Never had that before and threw me for a loop. As far as style/ color, it is OK. It is thin gray stripes. Not a "Wow that is a really great looking jacket" but something I will wear when I would like the heating function. The jacket appears to be well made, all the heating areas heat up, sewing is well done. Someone mentioned no pull strings on the hood. They are correct, but I didn't even notice, I think most of mine have fallen out of my sweatshirts and never use the ones that are left. Not important to me, maybe to others. I am very happy, everything.

I have included some photos to show this heated jacket. My partner is wearing the size medium. As soon as he tried it on we loved the look of it. It fits perfectly and is stylish. My partner then used our Duracell power bank we already owned ( no power bank is included ) to hook this jacket up to. Just WOW! It starts off on the highest setting. This setting is incredibly warm, so warm my partner started to overheat and turned it off. The heat is almost instant. The jacket also retains the heat very well.Whilst this jacket claims it's waterproof. I wouldn't bet on that. In fact, soon after trying this on and testing out the warmth my partner went out during rain, without the powerbank, since he already felt toasty from using it prior, as mentioned. I'd say the rain was moderate to heavy and a little bit did get in. Personally, i don't find this much of an issue. This is because this jacket is non bulky, and in winter rain or extreme cold could be worn under a waterproof jacket comfortably. I wouldn't recommend getting this jacket wet whilst it is connected. So if not wearing under another jacket during rain, use a poncho.Quality is very good. It fit my partner who usually wears a medium no problem. Sometimes he can fit into size smalls too. So i wouldn't call this a large size medium, maybe small to average medium. We love the look and feel of this jacket. This jacket will be worth its weight in gold in the cold frost. With three heat settings, and the highest being incredibly warm, staying warm enough will not be an issue with this jacket. That plus the fact it heats up incredibly fast makes this jacket brilliant in our opinion. All you need is power bank and you're good to go.
